With millions of mobile phones in use all over the world, the market for services targeted at mobile users is an immense. Next generation mobile networks (i.e. UMTS/3G) are already available, yet even simple services find plenty of users, as long as they're useful or fun. Being able to get news, send e-mail or just be entertained wherever you are is extremely attractive to many.
Synelixis MSG (Messaging Service Gateway) is a straight out-from-the box solution for instant SMS to Email relaying. The Synelixis MSG-100 is a system solution, based on open source software. It may be connected either directly to a SMS Center (e.g. Nokia ARTUS, SEMA Group SMS2000, etc.) utilizing SMSC specific protocols (i.e. Nokia CIMD 2.0, SMPP 3.4, OIS 5.8) over a TCP/IP connection or use a mobile phone (e.g. Nokia 6210 or Premicell) connected to a serial port to enable exchange of messages between Internet or Intranet clients and mobile users.
