New SynField node in Nemea, Greece

Synelixis installed a new SynField node in Nemea, Greece. The node is equipedwith a number of sensors to measure the weather and soil conditions, and help the Cooperative Winery of Nemea to predict vineyard deseases and irrigation needs.

The Cooperative Winery of Nemea was founded in 11/05/1937 and has more than 1,000 members – growers of the native red grape variety “Agiorgitiko” – and it has the potential to vinificate up to 10,000 tons of grapes, which makes it one of the largest producers nationwide. The Cooperative Winery exports the famous and awarded wine Nemea (PDO) to more than 15 countries. With more than 40 (SKU’s) product codes in the Greek Market it has presence in all the large Organized Trade chains and has Retail Partners for nationwide distribution covering the HO.RE.CA. channel.
